Processing times
- General Processing Times for custom DTF transfers and gang sheets is 1-3 business days from date order was placed.
By purchasing this product, you agree to have read through the following artwork requirements and understand V&M Prints assumes no responsibility for misprints due to requirements not being met.
- Artwork must be print ready: 300 DPI PNG file with a transparent background is the only file type we accept.
- To ensure correct colors are printed, artwork must be submitted in a CMYK print profile. If artwork is submitted in a RGB print profile, your final printed colors may appear off. V&M Prints assumes no responsibility if artwork is not submitted in a CMYK print profile and will not offer reprints, replacements or artwork revision. Programs such as Canva and Silhouette do not allow for artwork to be created in a CMYK profile. To convert to a CMYK profile, you will need to utilize a design program such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw or similar.
- Artwork should be ganged within the size parameters that you have chosen. V&M Prints does not offer gang sheeting services at this time.
- Artwork should be sized to the size you are wanting within the size parameters you have chosen. V&M Prints will not edit or resize any artwork submitted for this product listing.
- Images will be printed AS-IS. V&M Prints will not crop, edit, change colors, change print profiles (RGB to CMYK) etc. Please ensure your artwork is PRINT-READY as we will not offer refunds for printed artwork.
- By uploading a file for print you are certifying that you have the rights to print the design. V&M Prints takes no responsibility for trademark or copywrite infringement and reserve the right to refund a print at our discretion.
- PLEASE COMPLETELY INSPECT YOUR GANG SHEET UPON DELIVERY AND PRIOR TO CUTTING DOWN. ONCE YOU HAVE CUT INTO YOUR GANG SHEET, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ADDRESS ANY ISSUES.
What is a DTF Transfer?
DTF transfers are a type of garment transfer that has been printed using a water-based DTF ink printed onto a clear release paper. This allows the end user the flexibility of when the transfer is applied and what the transfer is applied to. DTF transfers can be made in single color or full color images. Keep in mind that full color transfers will feel slightly thicker than single color transfers simply because more ink is used to create the transfer itself but we do pride ourselves with having some of the thinnest full color DTF transfers on the market. DTF transfers from V&M Prints can be applied to any cotton, polyester, or cotton-poly blend materials.
Application Instructions***
All V&M Prints DTF transfers require the use of a commercial grade heat press due to the high, even pressure that is needed for correct application. Home irons will not work.
While not necessary, Teflon sheets or parchment paper can be used as a protective covering when pressing. If you are pressing your DTF transfer without the clear transfer paper (such as a second press) be sure to use a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect your heat press. Be advised that pressing pillows can negatively effect the application and these should be used at your own risk
*These settings are recommendations only and will greatly depend on your heat press. If you are not familiar with pressing DTF transfers from V&M Prints, we recommend completing a few test presses to ensure the correct temperature, time and pressure for your heat press.
